About MingSez
I hope you leave here with a little more strength for everyday life.
I’m Tang, the founder of MingSez.
I’ve been through a difficult period in my own life. Later, I gradually found my way to Eastern thought and traditions. I began learning, trying to understand what I encountered and bringing those ideas together, a little at a time. MingSez grew out of that process.
The more I explored, the more I wanted to share what I was learning—so that people from different cultural backgrounds could come closer to these traditions and find something that spoke to their own lives.
Small moments of help matter.
Sometimes we feel stuck in a relationship. Sometimes we face a choice that is hard to make. And sometimes we are simply tired, without quite knowing what we need.
I hope you can find some help here. A reading might give you a way to begin a conversation with your family. A traditional image might help you see a change in your life from another angle.
Even learning about the symbolism of yellow, putting on a yellow shirt you love and feeling a little brighter all day would mean something to me.
That is where the depth of this knowledge should lead: into everyday life, with a little more understanding, a little more comfort and a little more courage to try again.
Curiosity is enough to begin.
MingSez offers a free encyclopedia and practical tools. You can discover an Eastern idea, learn how dreams have been interpreted in traditional thought, look up your zodiac sign or a calendar date, or explore a basic birth chart.
You don’t need to know the terminology or buy a personal service. Reading a little, looking something up and slowly forming your own understanding is already worthwhile.
We also want to make the sources and scope of an explanation clear, so you can keep your own judgment as you explore and recognise exaggerated promises.
Listening more closely.
Mingcore offers a way to explore a personal question through conversation.
You might begin with a question, or simply talk about how you’ve been feeling lately. We hope it can help you clarify what matters to you, then draw on appropriate Eastern methods to explore it further. The aim is for you to leave with a clearer understanding, a next step you can try, or a little peace of mind.
MingSez will keep growing. If something you read or discover here helps you feel more willing to meet life with care, this work will have meant something.
